Nu Finish Scratch Doctor
Ok, don’t laugh too hard. But this product saved me a great deal. While on a road trip with a rental car I was side swiped in a parking lot at hotel. No kiss, no thank you and no number left. What was left were marks from the front panel across both side doors and the rear panel and no, this time I did not take the all comp coverage from the rental company. So, I looked closely at the scratches and it seem to me like is was more like paint swapping than any gouges. So, I though – “Gee I’ll get some polishing compound and see if I can polish off the paint that was shared. I could not find an auto parts store, but I did find some Nu Finish Scratch Doctor at a chain pharmacy store. I purchased the Nu Finish Scratch Doctor and a sponge and went to work on the car in the parking lot of the hotel. I was ready for some extended hard rubbing and get everything to look ok. Well, I was wrong, all it took was some light rubbing and the scratches were gone in a few minutes. I am very impressed with this product, very impressed. I know, from the feed back from our readers that many are frequent travelers and face some odd challenges. Yet, while we are great with these odd challenges, I was not looking forward to the challenges of dealing with a rent-a-car company with scratches down to entire side of the car. I had guessed the scratches were merely cosmetic but I expect that would have been an uphill economic dance when the rental company already had my credit card and a $500 credit card authorization the rental company might wish to keep.
