L. Burke Files DDP CACM, President

Mr. Files is the head of an international investigative firm specializing in asset recovery, due diligence, anti money laundering and intellectual property matters. Prior to this Mr. Files was a partner in a regional consulting firm specializing in business, financial and securities consulting and served as the Director of Corporate Finance for an investment banking company.

Mr. Files is the Practice Section leader on due diligence, asset recovery and intellectual property investigations.  As a financial industry insider he is keenly aware of the type, and accuracy of the information required to make informed and timely decisions. Mr. Files has been the case manager on fraud investigations ranging from ten of thousands of dollars to over 3 billion.   Mr. Files is an international expert on due diligence and is regularly sought out for those cases that bedevil the desktop practioners. MIKE JW WHITE

Michael (Mike) is a London based security and risk management consultant who has worked in the UK private security industry for 15 years following periods in defence electronics and local government. Mike has extensive security experience gained through working in a wide range of sectors at strategic Board level and encompassing elements of the UK critical national infrastructure including power stations, electrical supply generator national control rooms and The London Stock Exchange.

Mike’s degree is in Security and Risk Management from the University of Leicester and he has a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence at the University of St Andrews.

He is the current Chairman of the International Professional Association based in the UK and is a regular speaker on security-related matters at conferences and exhibitions in the UK, the Middle East, and Europe. Mike has also contributed numerous articles for security publications and blogs.
He is a Liveryman in the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals, a Freeman of the City of London and a member of the Security Regulatory Alliance, a body established in 2011 to lobby the UK Government on security regulatory reform issues. He is also a member of ASIS UK, the Security Institute in the UK, the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Leadership and Management.

As a consultant, Mike has clients in the UK and the Middle East and advises across both the public and private sector on security-related issues.

DREW MILLER Ph.D., COL, USAFR (RETIRED)

Dr. Drew Miller is Director of Advanced Analysis Applications, consulting in M&A negotiations and due diligence, Disaster Response and Business Continuity, Financial Threat and Investment Risk Analysis, Decision Analysis, Strategic Planning and Business Development, and Business “Wargames” to develop better strategies.

Drew worked as Corporate Planning and Development Manager at ConAgra Inc., the world’s fourth largest public food company and VP Planning and Development at Securities America, responsible for strategic planning, acquisitions, and business development for the sixth largest independent broker-dealer in the U.S. A Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and Certified M&A Advisor, he helped found the Alliance of Mergers and Acquisitions Advisors.
Drew served in the Senior Executive Service in the Department of Defense and as a research analyst at a top DoD think tank. Drew retired as a Colonel in the US Air Force Reserve, serving as an intelligence officer and plans and programs officer. He also served as a part-time elected official for 16 years as a County Commissioner and then a University of Nebraska Regent. Drew is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy with a Masters Degree and Ph.D. from Harvard University.

Gary Craig

for almost 30 years he helps people and organizations move through dramatic change. Through expertise in organizational effectiveness, he determines root causes of organizational issues and resolves them. Recognized for accurately assessing organizations, he recommends and implements changes aligning culture with infrastructure and strategic business objectives particularly in the post-M&A arena. Highly skilled in driving optimal performance and human capital within organizations, he leverages several approaches including organizational change management (OCM), leadership and management development, executive coaching, teambuilding and partnering and process improvement.

Gary is Past President of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD)-Rocky Mountain Chapter in Denver, CO and is an Honorary Life Member. He frequently presented at the international conferences for ASTD and the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) as well as for local chapters of those professional societies.
